Terms and conditions to rent the casa marina :
If you have decided to stay with us, please read the rental conditions below.
By sending a lease request you confirm that you have read and accepted the booking process and the terms and conditions.
Booking process:
Please get in touch via the contact form. When we confirm your request, we will send you our bank details and reserve your desired period in the casa marina for three to four working days. During this time you may send us a deposit of 30% of the total. As soon as we receive your payment, we will send you the confirmation of receipt. In the availability calendar than changes your desired time fromreserved to occupied and now the reservation is binding for both sides. About a week before arrival we will send you then thedirections, how to get to Garachico and ask you about your expected arrival time. Upon arrival, the remaining 70% of the rent is to be paid in cash, if we did not agree upon another payment arrangement previously.
Cancellation:
If you cannot attend for some reason your stay, please observe the following conditions:
If the cancellation is made 30 days or less before the arrival date, we will retain your deposit.
If the cancellation occurs 31- 90 days before the arrival date, we will pay you 50% of your deposit back.
If the cancellation is made 90 days or more before your arrival, you have two options:
We will pay you a 95% of your deposit back,
or you can choose and request another period available, in the calendars of the casa canarina or the casa marina, for the next 12 months (from the date of cancellation on), and your deposit will remain.
If we have to cancel the lease for some forceful reason, we will inform you as soon as possible and we pay back your deposit immediately.
During your stay, we would ask you to consider the following requests:
On arrival the apartment will be ready to habituate at 15:00 o'clock, and on the day of departure we ask you to leave about 12:00 o'clock, if previously no other agreement has been made.
We would like to ask smokers not to smoke indoors. Pets should not be brought.
The apartment is not to be disclosed to third parties or habituated with more people than previously arranged.
The installation should be treated with care. Nevertheless, if something gets broken, please let us know, so we can replace or repair the item in time, so that the next guest will find everything o.k. again.
In case of wilful destruction or major damage we would ask you, wether you have an insurance against civil liability, otherwise, you will have to repair the damage, at least financially.
For minor damages, we do not charge.
